Learn how trees improve the quality of life in Kalamazoo and what you can do to help keep our trees - and all of us as a result - healthy and thriving. The basics of why a tree canopy is so important, outlining the quantifiable benefits trees provide to a community. Trees affect our environment, energy bills, economy and even the value of our homes.  You will also learn why planting diverse trees will support a healthy community forest that will live for generations to come.
