ARE YOU PLANNING TO GO TO THE KALAMAZOO COUNTY FAIR?

The Kalamazoo Conservation District will be at the Kalamazoo County Fair to screen drinking water well samples for nitrate and nitrite on Wednesday and Thursday, August 10 and 11, from 9 am to 4 pm. The screening is sponsored by the Kalamazoo Conservation District, the Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) and Michigan State University Extension.

The screening is open to everyone who attends the fair and uses a personal well for drinking water; however, the number of samples that can be tested is limited. (Please note that NO samples will be accepted at the District Office). Bring your sample to the Agricultural tent displays at the Fair which will be located adjacent to the grandstand area. Look for the Michigan State University Extension table. Information and forms are available at the link below.
