Michigan's voluntary MAEAP empowers farms of any size or commodity to proactively identify and reduce their agricultural pollution risks through innovative practices.

Growers have access to a Produce Safety Technician for guidance on implementing safety practices and meeting FSMA obligations. Functioning as a key educational partner, the technician collaborates with MDARD, MSU Extension, and the PSA to ensure producers understand and can effectively respond to FDA mandates.
